Apply for a parking suspension or waiver

You can make an application up to 31 March 2023.

Parking suspensions

A suspension is a three day relaxation of a parking restriction on a particular stretch of road.

• you must apply for a suspension at least 10 working days before you need it

Please note new prices below applicable from 9 November 2020:

• each suspension costs £75 per 6m of road for the first 3 days
• additional days cost £12 each per 6m stretch of road 

Waiver certificates

A waiver allows a vehicle to park in a particular area and is not restricted to a specific piece of road.

• you must apply for a waiver certificate at least 10 working days before you need it

Please note new prices below applicable from 9 November 2020:

• Each waiver costs £25 for three days

• Additional days cost £6 each

The application process

We may require information to support your application for a suspension or a waiver certificate. Once received we will determine whether to approve your waiver or suspension then contact you for payment.

Applications received less than 10 working days before the suspension or waiver is required may not be approved. We do not offer refunds.
