Overview
Animal welfare licenses will be issued for 1, 2 or 3 years according to assessment.
Legislation on animal welfare includes:
- Animal Welfare Act 2006 which makes owners and keepers responsible for ensuring the welfare needs of their animals are met
- Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals (England) Regulations 2018
