Items we can collect as bulky waste
We only collect items from the list below. Any item that is not listed, will not be collected.
It’s free to take furniture or other bulky waste to your nearest recycling centre.

Fridge and freezer collections temporarily unavailable
Fridge and freezer collections through our bulky waste service are temporarily suspended due to national recycling and disposal issues.
This only affects fridges and freezers. Collections for all other bulky waste items continue as normal.
If you have already booked a fridge or freezer collection, it will go ahead as planned. However, we cannot currently accept new bookings for these items.
You can still:
- take fridges and freezers to your local Community Recycling Centre (CRC)
- ask your retailer to remove and recycle your old appliance when delivering a replacement, where this service is offered
- use a licensed waste carrier to arrange a private collection
If none of these options are suitable, please store your fridge or freezer safely at home until the service resumes.
We expect the situation to be resolved in the coming weeks and will update this page when more information is available.
