Council Tax Support

Help to pay your Council Tax, if you are on a low income or receive benefits.

Change of circumstances

If you have any change of circumstance, you must tell us straight away to avoid any overpayment or repayments.

Moving in and out of an address

Council Tax Support is given from the date you move into your home. If your tenancy or ownership starts before you move in, you will have to pay full Council Tax for those days.

Council Tax Support will stop from the day you move out of your home. You will remain liable for full Council Tax if your tenancy end date is different to your moving out date.
