How to respond to the annual canvass

You can respond to the annual canvass using the secure online form.

Respond to the annual canvass online

You'll need your postcode and the two-part security code from your form or email. The security code is unique to your address.

You must list everyone aged 16 or over living at the address on the form.

If a property has no eligible voters, you’ll need to tell us why.  For example, because the property is empty or is a second home.

If you have moved out of the property, you will need to declare that you have “moved out”. If another person is no longer living at the property, you can mark them as absent. You may have already told us, but we need 2 pieces of evidence to show someone is no longer living at an address.

If you have already completed and returned a paper form

If you've already completed and returned a paper form, there’s no need to respond online.

If you’ve received a reminder but already responded, you do not need to do anything else.

Paper form responses

If you cannot respond online, you can complete the paper form.

If you’ve received a green form, you only need to respond if there is a change. If you receive a salmon-coloured form, you must respond to this.

Send the completed form to Electoral Services, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey, KT10 9SD.
