Tennis for everyone in Elmbridge parks

Discover 12 all-weather court sites, flexible passes, and year-round coaching opportunities across the borough.

With the start of the tennis season, now is the perfect time to pick up a racket and head to your local park. Whether you’re looking for a relaxed hit with friends or a more competitive match, Elmbridge’s park tennis courts are ready for play.

Play locally, all year round

Did you know there are 12 park tennis locations across Elmbridge? Each court has an all-weather surface, so you can enjoy a game whenever it suits you, whatever the season.

The Parks Tennis scheme continues to grow in popularity, with over 2,100 players already making the most of the courts.

Flexible and affordable options

There are a range of ways to get involved:

  • Annual household pass – £40 per year (works out at just over £3 per month)
    • covers up to five people
    • book courts up to seven days in advance
    • play up to two hours per day at any location
    • no additional booking fees
       
  • Pay and play – £6 per hour per court
    Ideal if you’re looking for flexibility without committing to a pass.
     
  • Free passes available
    For eligible individuals and families receiving benefits.

Our local partners

Our local LTA-accredited partners offer a wide range of coaching and tennis opportunities across Elmbridge, catering for all ages and abilities.

  • Take Tennis Lessons - Coronation recreation ground
  • Surrey Tennis Coaching - Churchfields and Oatlands recreation grounds in Weybridge
  • Set Point Tennis Academy - Giggs Hill Field, Thames Ditton and Long Ditton recreation ground   
  • CourtFit – Cobham recreation ground
  • Versatile Tennis Players - Esher Civic Centre
  • Best Tennis will join us in mid-June for the Molesey Hurst and Cricket Way (Weybridge) sites. 

They provide:

  • group coaching sessions for children and adults, from beginners to more advanced players
  • one-to-one lessons for more personalised development
  • junior coaching pathways to help young players build skills and confidence
  • school holiday tennis camps, providing fun and active sessions during school breaks
  • social tennis sessions for those who want to play regularly and meet others

With sessions running throughout the year at locations across the borough, there are plenty of opportunities to improve your game. Get in touch to get involved.
