Join our WhatsApp broadcasting channel to receive Elmbridge Borough Council’s (EBC) latest news straight to your phone.

WhatsApp channels are a one-way broadcasting tool for organisations to send photos, videos, polls, links, and anything really, to their subscribers. These channels are found in the updates tab in the app and are separate from your regular chats. 

When you subscribe to the EBC broadcasting channel your personal information such as your name, mobile number and profile photo will not be shared with us or other subscribers. Who you decide to follow is private.

You will be able to react with emojis and share posts but commenting is unavailable. This feature is enabled by WhatsApp. Notifications are also defaulted to mute but you can change this option by clicking on the notification bell at the top of the chat to ensure you know when we send information.
