As part of our ongoing work to support creativity, celebrate place and reflect local identity in Elmbridge, we’re delighted to be working with Love Walton BID (Business Improvement District) and Surrey County Council to help bring a new public art project to life in Walton.
Surrey County Council has commissioned artist Nathan Evans, a UK-based illustrator and graphic designer known for his hand-drawn and hand-painted lettering, to create a vibrant mural inspired by the town’s history and heritage. The artwork will be installed on the Walton Library wall facing Hepworth Way, creating a colourful new landmark for residents and visitors.
The project advances a long‑held aspiration of Walton BID, made possible through Surrey County Council funding and shaped by engagement with residents, businesses and the wider community to create a mural that reflects the people who live, work and spend time in Walton
To help shape the design, the project is inviting residents to share their stories, ideas and perspectives by completing a short survey. Your input will directly influence the creative direction of the final piece.
Find out more information and take part in the survey. The online survey closes on 6 March.
