Free swimming sessions this summer with Places Leisure

Following the success of previous free-swimming initiatives, we are pleased to offer free swimming sessions for eligible children during summer 2026 at Elmbridge Xcel Leisure Complex and The Hurst Pool.

Who is eligible? 

Children who are eligible for free school meals can enjoy free swimming sessions (swim and family fun sessions only) during the summer holidays.

How to access the offer

To enrol, please present:

• the original email confirming entitlement to free school meals
• proof of eligibility (free school meals letter)

These documents must be shown to staff at the main reception.

Important information

• all children under 8 years old must be accompanied by a supervising adult in the water. The accompanying adult will be charged the standard admission fee
• participants will receive a free pair of goggles while stocks last
• sessions may be busy during peak times and are subject to maximum capacity. To avoid disappointment, please check availability on the Places Leisure website or app before visiting
