Free swimming for children in Elmbridge during May half-term

Following the success of the free swimming initiative in previous school holidays, we are pleased to share free swimming at the Xcel Leisure is returning for May half-term.

Children who are eligible for free school meals will be entitled to free swimming sessions (swim and family fun sessions only) from Saturday 23 to Sunday 31 May 2026.

To enrol, the original email confirmation of entitlement and proof of eligibility (free school meals letter) needs to be provided to staff on the main reception.

All children under 8 years old must have a supervising adult in the water and therefore the adult will need to make full price payment.

Participants will also receive a free pair of goggles while stocks last. 

Please be aware that at peak times, sessions may be busy and have a maximum capacity. To avoid disappointment please check availability via the Places Leisure website, app or by calling the centre on 01932 260300.
