Families across Elmbridge can look forward to a summer of outdoor fun, as our splash pads re-open for the 2026 season this May.
Our popular water play facilities will be reopening at Hersham Recreation Ground and Churchfields Recreation Ground in Weybridge on Saturday 23 May until Wednesday 2 September 2026
Opening times:
- Monday to Saturday: 10am to 6pm
- Sundays: 10am to 5pm
The facilities are free to use and are designed to provide safe, accessible and enjoyable water play for children and families during the warmer months. Located within well-equipped recreation grounds, both sites also offer a range of other facilities including play areas and open green space, making them ideal for a full day out.
Water and sun safety tips:
- always supervise children closely when playing in and around water
- follow any signage and instructions on site
- apply sunscreen regularly, especially after water play
- encourage children to wear hats
- bring water bottles and drink plenty of fluids
Please remember to Keep Elmbridge Clean and take your litter home.
Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan ahead and make the most of Elmbridge’s parks this summer.
The works for our Cobham and Molesey splash pad sites are still ongoing. We will provide updates on these projects soon. Read about our commitment to upgrade play areas.
