We would like to thank to all the residents who attended the recent Community Conversations events held across the borough. These 8 sessions formed part of our commitment to open dialogue, transparency and meaningful engagement with local communities.
Across the programme of meetings, residents heard updates and shared views on several key issues shaping Elmbridge’s future. Topics included the forthcoming changes to local government in Surrey, preparations for upcoming elections, the council’s continued investment in local services and facilities and a wide range of planning matters specific to towns and villages across the borough.
Councillor Mike Rollings, Leader of Elmbridge Borough Council, said:
We are grateful to everyone who took the time to join us. These conversations are invaluable. They help ensure that our decisions reflect the priorities and concerns of the people who live and work in Elmbridge.
Councillor Simon Waugh, Deputy Leader of Elmbridge Borough Council, added:
Hearing directly from residents helps us navigate the transition in local government, prepare for elections, and continue investing in the services and places that matter most.
We have a feedback survey available for residents who attended a meeting to complete.
A recorded webcast of the Esher meeting is available for those who were unable to attend.
