We have introduced a new online funding platform, Plinth, making it easier for local organisations to apply for council funding.
The platform brings together the council’s community grants into one place, helping to simplify the application process, making it more efficient for applicants.
Plinth replaces our previous application methods with a more streamlined approach, following feedback that the process could be time consuming and repetitive.
Using the Plinth platform, applicants can:
- submit funding applications online
- save and return to their application at any time
- upload and manage supporting documents
- track the progress of their application
- see how much funding is available
The introduction of Plinth is part of our ongoing work to improve how funding is delivered to the voluntary and community sector.
By utilising Plinth, we aim to:
- make applying for funding more accessible
- ensure a consistent process across different grants
- provide clearer information to applicants
- support better reporting and outcomes
As part of this update, Elmbridge’s community grant applications are now accessed directly through Plinth, whilst partnership funding managed by the council may continue to be administered separately.
