With the Wimbledon Championships underway, there has never been a better time to grab your racquet and head off to your local courts to enjoy a relaxed or competitive game with friends and family.
Did you know you could play at 12 parks tennis locations in Elmbridge? All courts are equipped with an all-weather surface, ideal to practice your skills or learn new ones in all seasons.
The Parks Tennis scheme has been a success over the past few years, with 2,162 players accessing the sport and enjoying their time on Parks Tennis courts.
How to access the Elmbridge Parks Tennis courts
The annual pass gives members the opportunity to book 7 days in advance to secure a court at any time and location they want. The initial fee for the annual pass is £40. The pass covers up to 5 members, making courts accessible to a whole household for just over £3 per month. They can play up to 2 hours per day on any court any time of the year and there is no extra fee for court booking.
Our pay and play pass is also available to those who do not want to commit to an annual pass. The booking fee is £5.75 per hour per court.
We also have free passes available for families or individuals in receipt of benefits. If you are interested in registering for a free pass, please email parkstennis@elmbridge.gov.uk to find out if you are eligible.
To help us develop tennis locally, we are working in partnership with local LTA accredited tennis providers who offer comprehensive year-round community tennis programmes for all ages and abilities. Most of them have planned tennis holiday camps for the summer as well as coaching adults and children all year long. Check their programmes out:
