Love Small Business Saturday

Our small businesses are vital to our high streets and villages, and to community life.

On Saturday 6 December we will celebrate their contribution and their customer service. We will be shouting about the “fantastic produce and friendly service” of Gardinia Butchers in Walton and the “attentive, personal, friendly and competent service” available at The Card Collection in Molesey for example, across our social media channels.

If any local small business has offers specific to Small Business Saturday or the festive period, let us know and we will amplify your promotion. Email: communications@elmbridge.gov.uk

Love Sustainable Elmbridge at Christmas

Our commitment to a Sustainable Elmbridge is stronger than ever at Christmas, and we always recommend planning for a sustainable Christmas where possible. This may involve choosing recyclable wrapping paper and cards, or shopping at eco-friendly refill stores such as the Elmbridge Eco Hub in Hersham, or for second-hand items at charity shops. We also encourage our residents to shop local to embrace our small businesses and avoid driving long distances that can produce harmful emissions.

We suggest taking advantage of the below local Christmas markets:

Walton on Thames Farmers’ and Artisans Market at The Heart Shopping Centre - Saturday 6 December.

Cobham Farmers’ and Artisans Market at Hollyhedge Road car park - Saturday 22 November.
