Join us to support local health at the Community Assess and Support Day

We are delighted to support Surrey Downs Health and Care, your NHS community provider, at their Community Assess and Support Day at Imber Court, Ember Lane, East Molesey, Surrey, KT8 0BT, on Thursday 20 November from 8:30am to 3:30pm.

This event aims to help you live a longer and healthier life while reducing the Musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy and podiatry waiting lists for NHS services.

Open to all residents, the event will bring together a range of partners to raise awareness of ways people can support their own wellbeing. Advice will be available on the following topics:

• Finance
• Health advice
• Employment
• Care services
• Exercise classes and tasters

We will be attending alongside our leisure management contractors, Places Leisure, to speak with visitors about the GP referral scheme, rehabilitation classes, and other exercise initiatives available at the Xcel Leisure Complex in Walton, designed to help people stay healthy, active, and independent.

We’ll also be sharing information about our Wellbeing Walks programme across the borough, delivered in partnership with The Ramblers UK.
