Elmbridge Borough Council is proud to announce the launch of its revitalised Community Grants and Funding Programme, designed to support voluntary, community, and faith organisations across the borough. This initiative reflects our commitment to building a sustainable and thriving Elmbridge.
The new funding process offers a streamlined and responsive approach, accepting applications on a rolling basis to better meet emerging community needs. Grants available include:
- Annual Grant
- Arts Development Grant
- Community Lottery Grant
- Community Wellbeing Grant
- Cost of Living Support Fund
- Partnership Fund
- Sports Development Grant
These grants aim to foster collaboration, encourage long-term impact, and support projects that continue to deliver benefits beyond the initial funding period.
“We are excited to offer a more flexible and inclusive funding process that empowers local organisations to make a real difference,” said Cllr Gill Coates, Portfolio Holder for Community Care. “By investing in grassroots initiatives, we’re helping to build a resilient and connected community.”
Eligible organisations include charities, community groups, and faith-based organisations operating within Elmbridge.
What we fund
We are prioritising funding for projects that address a clear and current need within the community.
Funding is available for initiatives that support:
- Mental health and efforts to reduce loneliness and social isolation
- Individuals facing financial hardship
- People who are homeless or at risk of homelessness
- Specific groups such as young people, minority ethnic communities, and unpaid carers
- Projects with a commitment to ongoing provision or match funding
All applications must directly benefit Elmbridge residents.
For more information on how to apply and the types of projects eligible for funding, visit the Community Grants and Funding page.
