Annual canvass 2025 begins in Elmbridge: Don’t lose your voice

As a resident, you will receive either an email or a letter asking you to confirm or update the details of those living at your address. The easiest way to respond is online, using the two-part security code provided. You can also respond by returning the paper form.

The canvass helps identify new residents who need to register to vote and ensures those who have moved are removed from the register. Responding promptly helps reduce the need for reminder notices and home visits by council staff, which are scheduled between 1 October and 27 October 2025 if no response is received.

Being registered not only ensures your right to vote in local and national elections but can also positively impact your credit rating.
