Earlier this year, we introduced 30-minutes free parking across several town and village car parks in the borough, as part of our ongoing commitment to supporting the local economy and improving access to local shops and services.
Since 1 April, residents and visitors have been able to benefit from up to three hours of free parking per week.
We are now looking to hear from residents and business owners about the impact the 30-minutes free parking has had on the local area.
Cllr Kirsty Hewens, Portfolio Holder for Enterprise, Parking and Local Economy, said:
We want to hear directly from our residents and businesses about how the 30-minute free parking is working for them. Your feedback is essential in helping us understand what’s working well, what could be improved and how we can continue to support our local communities and high streets
