Vote by emergency proxy
You can apply for an emergency proxy vote if you cannot vote in person and the normal proxy vote deadline has passed. This applies only in situations you could not have known about before the deadline, such as:
- you have a medical emergency
- you are away for work
- your photo ID has been lost, stolen, destroyed or damaged after the deadline to apply for a Voter Authority Certificate

Return your completed application by 5pm on election day:
- online through our contact us form
- by post: Electoral Services, Elmbridge Borough Council, Civic Centre, High Street, Esher, Surrey KT10 9SD
- by hand delivery: Civic Centre, High Street, Esher
