Change your details or respond to a request
You can let us know if you've changed address, nationality or name, or respond to us if we’ve contacted you about documentary evidence or a voter registration review (Type A review).
Change of address, nationality or name
If you’ve changed address, nationality or name, complete a new application to register to vote on GOV.UK to update your details on the electoral register.
For change of name, you will need a driving licence or passport in your new name. If you only have a marriage certificate or deed poll as your evidence of your name change, contact electoral services for a change of name paper form to complete.
Documentary evidence
If we’ve requested documentary evidence, you can complete the online form to submit this.
Voter registration review (Type A review)
If you’ve received a voter registration review (Type A review) letter, you can respond online to tell us if you are still living at the address.
