Flooding

Rogue traders

Rogue traders often attempt to take advantage of flood victims, as people who have been affected are usually very tempted to take the first offer to restore their property as quickly as possible.

Remember that you should never agree to have work done by someone who appears at your door unannounced.

If you are concerned, you should contact the Trading Standards Rogue Trading Team, visit Trading Standards: Surrey County Council.
