Elmbridge equality and diversity forum
The Elmbridge equality and diversity forum is a non statutory partnership and is committed to celebrating and promoting the benefits of equality and diversity for Elmbridge and its residents. It ensures that the values of equality, fairness and diversity are inherent with the borough and to promote a community where all can exercise their human rights.

We are committed to providing services in a fair and accessible way to all members of the community and to ensuring that everyone has the same opportunities to work with the council, irrespective of:

- marriage and civil partnership
- pregnancy and maternity

- religion or belief
- sex
- sexual orientation
Equalities Plan
Over the summer of 2023 we are updating our Equalities, Diversity and Inclusion plan in line with our 2030 Vision and up-to-date data on the borough. We will be speaking to colleagues internally as well as community groups. This plan will have an associated internal and external communications strategy. Whether it is flying the Pride flag in June, changing our logo on social media or hosting events, we know that public shows of support are important, and we want to get it right.
