Through the Parks Tennis scheme, our 12 tennis courts are available to book for:
- recreational tennis
- single and doubles social play
- one to one coaching
- formally organised group activities, including group coaching
You can play for a maximum of 2 hours per day, all year round.
To play, register for the Parks Tennis scheme and then book a tennis court.
Step one – Register for the Parks Tennis scheme
To register, you can choose to pay an annual fee or join the pay as you go option, with no initial cost:
Annual pass
With the annual pass, you pay a £36 annual fee which can be used by up to 5 household members and entitles you to play for free for up to 2 hours every day.

Pay as you go with pay and play
With pay and play there is no annual fee. Bookings are charged at £5 per hour (maximum 2 hours per day).

Step two – Book a tennis court
Once you have registered you can book a tennis court to play:
- log in to Club Spark
- go to the book a tennis court tab and select a court to book

You can book to play tennis at any of the council-owned sites listed below. We also take bookings from private coaches, however we always make sure that at least one court is left open for public use.
