Elmbridge Wellbeing Walks are an accredited scheme run in partnership with The Ramblers.

Our walks, alongside other nearby walks, are also listed on Ramblers: Wellbeing Walks. They are free to join. Here you'll find more detailed information on each walk, including a helpful meeting point map, walk description, photographs and walk cancellations.
New walks on the programme
New walks include:
- every Monday (except Bank Holidays), 11am to 11.30am: all inclusive walk or wheel 1km - meet outside Xcel leisure complex, Waterside Drive, Walton-on-Thames KT12 2JG, slow, gentle walk with mild slope
- every Thursday, 1pm to 3pm: Mary France Trust wellbeing walk - meet at Wilde Brunch cafe by Walton Bridge car park - booking at info@maryfrancestrust.org.uk or call 01372 375 400
- fortnightly on Sundays, 1.30pm to 2.15pm: walk and talk, led by Ryan and Lydia - meet in Arbrook common car park - share conversation or simply enjoy the surroundings
Special interest wellbeing walks
Special interest wellbeing walks include historical walks, Claremont Landscape Gardens walks and bereavement walk and talks.
Historical walks
Led by Wellbeing Walk Leader and Museum volunteer Anthony Barnes. Free to join. No booking required. Walks take place on:
- Wednesday 15 May, 10.30am to 12pm: History of Hurst Park - meet at Tesco store main entrance, Hurst Road, Molesey KT8 1SE
- Thursday 30 May, 10.30am to 12pm: History of East Molesey Park - meet in Walton Road car park, Walton Road, East Molesey KT8 0DL
- Wednesday 12 June, 10.30am to 12pm: Sport on the Hurst - meet at river end of Graburn Way, East Molesey KT8 9AL
Claremont Landscape Gardens walks
Walks take place on:
- Monday 20 May
- Monday 10 June
Time: 2pm to 2.45pm
Free. Advance booking essential at health@elmbridge.gov.uk by 12 midday on Friday before walk.
Princess Alice Hospice bereavement walk and talks
When people experience bereavement, they often find it helpful to talk with others who have experienced loss and understand what they are going through.
These gentle walks last about an hour, after which the group is encouraged to stay and chat at the cafe. Booking required, to reserve your place or find out more details please email donnapariser@pah.org.uk.
Routes for the walks are:
- first Thursday of every month, 10:45am to 12 midday: Bushy Park - meet at the Pheasantry cafe car park TW11 0EQ
- second Wednesday of every month, 10:15am to 11:30am: Richmond Park - meet at Pembroke Lodge car park near information office TW10 5HX
- third Wednesday of every month, 10:15am to 11:30am: Painshill - meet in the car park KT11 1AA, numbers limited
- fourth Thursday of every month, 10:15am to 11:30am: Claremont Landscape Garden - meet at the entrance at 10:15am for 10:30am start - numbers limited
