To book a football pitch at one of our recreation grounds, submit your request at the start of the season. Regular hirers will be given priority.
How to book
To book, email leisure@elmbridge.gov.uk.
When booking, you’ll need to:
- upload a copy of your organisation’s public liability insurance (minimum indemnity limit of no less than £5 million cover)
- pay online for ad-hoc bookings (fewer than 5 bookings per request)
- pay by invoice for regular bookings (5 or more per request)
Bookings are first come, first served. You can book for a playing season, occasional games or on an ad-hoc basis.

Pitch locations
You can hire football pitches at:
- Coronation Recreation Ground - pitches 1, 2, 3 and 4 (pitch 4: 80 yards x 50 yards)
- Elmgrove Recreation Ground - pitch 1
- Long Ditton Recreation Ground - pitches 1, 2, 3 and 4 (pitch 4: 60 yards x 40 yards)
- Lower Green Recreation Ground - 2 pitches - youth U15/U16 11 v 11
- Molesey Hurst Recreation Ground - pitches 1 and 2
- West Molesey Recreation Ground - pitch 1
Cancel a booking
To cancel, email leisure@elmbridge.gov.uk by the end of the Tuesday before the match week. Refunds are not issued for cancellations made after this time.

All football bookings made for the 2025 to 2026 season are payable in full within 30 days of receipt of your invoice. The pitch will not be prepared and your booking will not be confirmed without payment.
