Deadline for appealing
Most appeals relating to planning applications must be made to the Planning Inspectorate within 6 months from the date of the decision. The time period is shorter for householder and minor commercial appeals (12 weeks) and advertisement appeals (8 weeks).
There's a different process to appeal a householder planning decision for a smaller project like an extension, conservatory or loft conversion. Find out about making an appeal against a householder planning decision at GOV.UK.
