Remembrance Day parades grant

Poppies

Following the introduction of the Remembrance Day parades grant, the aim of which is to financially support community led remembrance events to enable Elmbridge residents to show their respects to those who lost their lives in conflict, we received six applications for the Remembrance Parade Grant Fund 2024 from the local community, and all six applications were approved for funding.

This grant funding helps to ensure the continuation of Remembrance Parades in the Claygate, Cobham, Esher, Molesey, Thames Ditton and Walton-on-Thames communities.

We will continue to work with the parade groups to help them with the logistics of the road closures, routes, marshalling and appropriate signage.
