Come along to our free Walton Community Garden official opening on 20 August!
The community garden on the St Johns estate has benefited from Safer Streets funding which was obtained by the Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey.
Join us as we officially open the refurbished Walton Community Garden. We will be celebrating by offering free food, drink and activities including:
- plant potting
- pebble painting
- giveaways
- tennis-based activities
Community gardens are beneficial as they can help reduce crime and anti-social behaviour, provide a safe, secluded space for residents to meet and improve mental health by offering the opportunity to learn new skills and meet others, so come and join in!
