The Environmental Health and Licensing Enforcement Policy has been reviewed and updated and sets out the services approach to enforcement.

Our intention is always to be proportionate, using effective enforcement to promote compliance and fairness. The choice of enforcement action will be based upon the seriousness of any breach of the law using a staged approach to enforcement.
