Announcing a community takeover of Elmbridge Borough Council’s social media channels on Monday 29 April.
All messages on our Facebook, Instagram, X and Nextdoor feeds that day will be from non-profit, community groups based in Elmbridge.
What we need from you
- Email us your information, no more than 200 characters including a link to your website.
- Your logo – ideally a .jpeg version
- Please note – based on your message, we will create an image to represent your event and include your logo if provided. This will ensure that all images are appropriate and free of copyright.
Deadline
Please email this information, quoting Elmbridge Community Takeover in the subject line, to communications@elmbridge.gov.uk by 12noon on Thursday 25 April.
Terms and conditions
- We can promote information for local, not for profit, charitable events, such as a village or church fetes, school open days, amateur sports day or music concerts based in Elmbridge only.
- This includes educational, religious, cultural, recreational or social events (but not commercial events).
- We cannot display information relating to political parties, activities promoting businesses or other profit making organisations or commercial advertising.
- We can only accept one entry per non-profit group.
- We reserve the right to reject any promotional activity for any reason.
- We will only contact you if your material cannot be used on Twitter on November 29 2019.
