When war broke out in Ukraine and families were forced to flee their homes, Elmbridge stepped up to help.
Through ‘Homes for Ukraine’ our residents opened their doors to frightened women and children. Over a year later the need for homes remains. Working with the team at Elmbridge CAN, we offer private landlords a rent guarantee and a deposit bond (up to a month), while Elmbridge CAN supports refugee families with beds, clothes, toys…all the necessities of life, plus the emotional support they need at the most worrying time. Together we are supporting families at their most vulnerable.
