Overview: Upgrading this stretch of road will provide vital improvements to its safety and reliability. At the same time, this scheme will involve some of the most extensive environmental mitigation ever carried out by National Highways, with over 40 hectares of land being used to replace the 14 that are needed to improve the junction.
