Love Esher at Christmas

Esher residents can look forward to an early Christmas present this festive season with the news that the Farmers Market will return bigger and better in 2023.

The Esher Farmers Market is back this Saturday (17 December) for the final market of the year, helping to showcase the very best Surrey produce.

With the market proving such a hit with residents, agreement has been reached to expand the number of stalls in 2023; providing even more reason to stop by, stock up and enjoy fresh bread, brownies, fruit and vegetables, honey and so much more from the South West Surrey Farmers Market Co-Operative.

Councillor Robin Stephens, Portfolio Holder for Enterprise and the Local Economy said: “The Esher Farmers Market is a great example of how we work together with our local business groups to show off the best of our high streets and local traders.

“The Esher Chamber of Commerce and the South West Surrey Farmers Market co-operative traders have been supported by the council to establish the market which has been going from strength to strength. If you haven’t had a chance to visit, please do come down this Saturday for the Christmas Farmers Market or check it out in the New Year with the market set to continue on the third Saturday of every month across 2023.

“With the Esher Theatre, farmers market, cinema, Sandown sports, as well as brilliant food and drink businesses, Esher is growing into a great destination or for all the family.”

The next market will be held on Saturday 17 December between 10am and 1.30pm.
