Rough sleepers at Brooklands Community Park - update 16 May 2025:
The Council was unsuccessful with its claim for possession at its hearing at Kingston County Court to recover the land at Brooklands Community Park.
The Council will now be seeking an injunction from the Kingston County Court which will seek to prohibit camping on the land and require that they remove their belongings with immediate effect, or within 48 hours, as may be agreed by the County Court.
Further information will be available once a date has been secured.
A full clear up of the site will be scheduled for as soon as the site is vacated.
