Oak processionary moth (OPM)

Report OPM

If you think you've seen any processionary nests or caterpillars, first make sure you have correctly identified the species:

If you spot OPM, you can report it to the owner or manager of the land. For OPM on:

  • highways trees:
    report to Surrey County Council or email highways@surreycc.gov.uk
  • Elmbridge Borough Council-owned trees: 
    report to us by email at opm@elmbridge.gov.uk or call 01372 474825 or 01372 474579
  • land managed by PA Housing: 
    report to PA Housing
  • private land: 
    see OPM on private land
