There are volunteering opportunities to suit everyone, from meals on wheels to support in our centres for the community, and from countryside volunteers to healthy walk leaders.

Family support
Could you volunteer with our family support team to support families facing unemployment, domestic abuse and isolation by helping to provide social and practical support, for example with children's homework, hospital visits, a listening ear, gardening and decorating.
For further information, please contact fspvolunteer@elmbridge.gov.uk or call on 01372 474375.
Wellbeing walks or cycle rides
If you enjoy walking and want to improve lives in your area, why not become a 'Walking for Health' walk leader to lead short walks (10 to 30 minutes).
You will need to attend a minimum of 1 day's free training. We also offer a free 1-day first aid course. For further information please email health@elmbridge.gov.uk or find out more about our wellbeing walks.
Sports club
Volunteers are the key to a successful sports club. There are various ways sports clubs can recruit volunteers, either through existing memberships or by contacting and advertising for specific positions through Volunteer Action Elmbridge, the local volunteer centre.
If you want to become a volunteer for a local club, or have another volunteer opportunity in mind, please email sport@elmbridge.gov.uk.
