Rented accommodation
Independent living accommodation or sheltered accommodation is accommodation for those aged over 55. There is no on site warden and no element of care is provided.
If you want to be considered for rented retirement housing, you need to meet the criteria to join the council’s Housing Register. Your application will be assessed under the allocations policy. For more information see apply for social housing.
