Garden waste service

Overview

The garden waste collection is an annual subscription service which runs between 1 April to 31 March. You will need to subscribe to the service before collections will start and bin(s) will be provided on loan.  Your garden waste will be collected fortnightly, normally on the same day as your refuse bin.

Sign up for the garden waste service until 31 March 2026.

As a new customer, we will aim to add you onto the round within 14 days of your sign up. If your garden waste collection is due within this 14-day period, you won't have a garden waste collection and it won't be possible to report a missed garden waste collection.

The garden waste service collects:

  • grass cuttings
  • garden prunings
  • leaves
  • small twigs
  • dead plants/weeds
  • branches up to 7cm (3 inches) thick
  • Christmas tree cut up (lid must close)

The service is subject to the garden waste terms and conditions.
