Barking dogs

What to do if you are being disturbed by a barking dog.

It’s normal and natural for dogs to bark. But when barking happens a lot or for a long time, it can be annoying and upsetting for neighbours.

There might be reasons for dogs barking too much.

In the first instance, we encourage you to discuss the issue with the owners.

If this fails, you can report it to us. See noise complaints for how to report.
