Surrey County Council has developed the Social Value Market Place which aims to help support the development of relationships between the public, private and voluntary sector. Voluntary Sector Hub
Does your organisation require a small office occasionally or regularly? The Voluntary Sector Hub, based at the Civic Centre in Esher, can provide you with the opportunity to meet your clients, potential volunteers or members of the public. This facility is free of charge to those organisations that support the Elmbridge community and managed by Central Surrey Voluntary Action. Central Surrey Voluntary Action (formerly Voluntary Action Elmbridge)
Support and advice is available from Central Surrey Voluntary Action who are able to offer a range of services such as funding opportunities, managing best practice in volunteering and recruiting volunteers. They also aim to offer an on-going service to suit the needs of individual organisations to assist with any specific needs they may have.

The Surrey Compact represents a commitment to continually improve relationships between public organisations, the voluntary and community and faith sector, and organisations representing service users and carers. It is an agreement that changes how partners behave, engage and work together at all levels. Elmbridge Borough Council has signed up to Surrey Compact and has to adhere to the Codes of Practice.

Voluntary Sector Forum
Elmbridge, in partnership with Central Surrey Voluntary Action, head the Elmbridge Voluntary Sector Forum on 4 August 2022. Over 50 people attended, representing 25 voluntary and community groups who work within the borough.
Presentations were given on the following:
- Updates on Community Support Services and the draft Elmbridge Connects Strategy.
- The Elmbridge Community Lottery.
- Support from the Funding and Sustainability Officer.
- Current challenges with volunteer recruitment.
- Research commissioned by Walton Charity on poverty in Elmbridge.
- Issues around the Cost of Living Crisis.
