Due to current capacity limitations, we are currently unable to accommodate new weekend customers in the Walton, Weybridge and Cobham areas. We are still able to provide a Monday to Friday service for these areas, and can provide a frozen meal delivery on Fridays for the weekend.
Meals on wheels
The meals on wheels service provides freshly cooked hot meals direct to your door.
Meals on Wheels provides delicious hot meals direct to your door, across all of the borough. Our seven-day service allows people to remain independent in their own home.
The service can be provided for as long as you need, so whether you want a couple of days a week or something more long-term, we can deliver a service that suits you.
We can provide a range of specialised diets such as vegetarian, gluten free, soft or diabetic. We endeavour to provide meals that meet the medical and cultural needs of our customers.
And our service isn’t just a hot meal! Our volunteer delivery drivers have a quick chat with everyone on the round, making sure everything’s okay and giving peace of mind to friends and family.
Service criteria
The weekday Meals on Wheels service is for people who:
- live alone or with an elderly carer and are unable to heat up or cook a meal
- do not have the ability to shop for a main meal
- are able to remain living at home if Meals on Wheels services are provided
Additionally, we can provide a weekend service to residents who:
do not have family/other support living within 10 miles
and
- are receiving meals on wheels every weekday
For residents who do not meet the criteria for weekend delivery, we can provide frozen meals to be heated up by the resident alongside a hot meal delivery before the weekend.
What we offer
Our service can deliver all 3 daily meals.

For meals delivered at weekends and bank holidays to Hersham, Walton-on-Thames, Weybridge, Cobham, Oxshott and Stoke D'Abernon, there is an additional cost of 10p per day.
Applications for meals on wheels
We process applications during the week (9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday). We are not open at the weekends or during the bank holidays.
The turnaround time to process meals on wheels referrals is 3 working days, and therefore your online form needs to have a start date of at least 3 working days from completion.
