Community connectors

About the role of community connectors within connected communities.

As part of our Connected Communities initiative, we’re looking to partner with local voluntary sector organisations that share our commitment to supporting residents and strengthening community ties. These partnerships will help:

  • provide meaningful support and training to voluntary sector groups
  • increase the funding available to benefit our borough
  • equip local volunteers to become Community Connectors, helping ensure residents are guided to the support and services they need

This collaboration marks an important step in our efforts to improve how we connect people with help and resources. By working more closely with the voluntary sector, we aim to create a more joined-up, compassionate approach to supporting both residents and volunteers.
