Support for carers

Support services are available to help you care for someone in your own home including from: 

• Surrey County Council who can arrange a free care needs assessment from their Adult Social Care team - how much you need to pay for homecare will depend on income and savings, find out how much you are likely to pay for care at Adult Social Care: Surrey County Council 
• Adult Social Care (ASC) who can provide a carer’s assessment to check what extra support you are eligible for, including carer replacement breaks, benefits and financial support - contact the ASC team on 0300 200 105
• Crossroads Care which is a charity that provides care replacement and companionship visits to give carers some time out from their caring role - to find out more visit Crossroads Care or call 01372 869 970
