Megan Seager - "do something that makes you happy"

Megan Seager

As a Customer Operations Adviser, Megan Seager always enjoys the variety of the role and coming into the office each day to work alongside her fun and supportive team. Joining Elmbridge as an Apprentice in September 2021, Megan has now successfully worked her way up in the Customer Operations team, gaining a permanent role in July 2022 and completing her apprenticeship just last month.

When Megan first discovered the role online, she thought a job in the public sector where she could help others would be an interesting and rewarding career choice. She really enjoys the variety of everyday; one day she may be on the phones answering queries on planning, parking, waste and recycling or council tax, and then she could spend the next day training new starters or assisting residents on reception.

However, helping others and the community is Megan’s favourite part of her job. She helps many residents with their queries in reception each day and most recently, she took the time to support an elderly resident with their Blue Badge application. They were most grateful for her patience and assistance.

Looking beyond the completion of her Apprenticeship, Megan would like to expand her knowledge on the services that the organisation provides and progress to become a Team Leader.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys relaxing, seeing friends and going shopping. Her words to live by are “do something that makes you happy” and it’s great to see how happy she is working with us at Elmbridge.
