You need to request a review (reconsideration) within 1 month of the date of the decision.

- which decision date you think is wrong (date at top of the letter)
- reasons why you think it is wrong

You can appeal within 1 month from the date of our reconsideration decision. Download and return the form:
Council Tax Support appeal
You can appeal within 2 months from the date of our decision with the Council Tax Tribunal Service. You can contact them on 0300 123 1033.
