This accessibility statement applies to the online forms (Granicus).  

This website is run by Elmbridge Borough Council. We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:

  • change colours, contrast levels and fonts
  • navigate most of the website using just a keyboard
  • navigate most of the website using speech recognition software
  • listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)

  • Our online forms use presentational attributes such as ‘border’ in the HTML, rather than the style sheets.

  • Our online forms pages do not have headings on the page.

  • The colour of the text (on hover focus) and the colour of the background have insufficient contrast.

  • The italics tag “i” tag is used to highlight text in the footer menu of our forms website.

  • Content is not included in landmarks.

  • Due to the focus not being visible, some options cannot be clearly accessed using the keyboard.

Our supplier has been informed of these issues and we expect most of the issues to be fixed by 30 June 2021.
