Electric cars and bikes are greener options that can help us to tackle the climate crisis.
Our electric transport
We are taking steps to reduce our carbon footprint. This includes giving our employees access to an electric car (ecar) and an electric bike (ebike) for their enforcement work around the borough.
If you are thinking about buying an ecar or ebike, take a look at:
- Zap-map - find more than 20,000 public charge points and search for electric vehicle models.
- Low-emission vehicles plug-in grant - you can get a discount on the price of brand new low-emission vehicles through a grant the government gives to vehicle dealerships and manufacturers.
- Electric vehicle homecharge scheme - grant funding towards the cost of installing electric vehicle chargepoints at domestic properties across the UK.
