Although it is lovely to see the sunshine, hot weather can be dangerous - especially for the very young, older people and those with serious illnesses. Find out what you can do to look after yourself and your family, by visiting the NHS website.
Make sure you are drinking the correct amount of fluids every day. Even if the weather is not as hot as you expect or you are less active, the body still needs to be well hydrated with water (or tea, coffee or juice but not alcohol). See Hydrate with 8 for more information.
