Notice of proposed disposal of open space 

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Elmbridge Borough Council (“the Council”) is considering the disposal by way of grant of a lease of an area of land held and maintained as public open space. 

The open space is an area of land at Giggs Hill Green Giggs Hill Road Thames Ditton Surrey registered at HM Land Registry with title number SY814769. A plan that shows the area of the land in question edged red is available to view. 

The proposed disposal is the grant of a 25-year lease of the land by the Council to Mr Edwin Glasgow QC, Mr Geraint Morgan and Mr St.John Farley being the present trustees of the Thames Ditton Cricket Club Giggs Hill Green Thames Ditton KT7 0EG for the playing and practising of cricket. 

The Council will consider any objections to the proposed disposal as may be made to it. Details of representations and those making them may be made public.
